Bharat Sumaria is the founder and face of AMBARii
Born and raised in Kenya he now lives with his wife Rachel in the beautiful English Cotswold hills from where they run their safari business.
Safaris are in Bharat’s blood. As a young man he explored all of East Africa. His trusty Peugeot car took him up the steepest mountains, forded rivers, crossed the widest plains and allowed him to fall in love with the incredible wildlife and stunning landscape.
When his children were born in Kenya, they too became part of the expeditions that he and Rachel continued to enjoy.
Bharat has now been in the safari business for over 25 years. His encyclopaedic knowledge of the wildlife, people, game reserves, camps, conservation issues and climate in East and Southern Africa ensure that Ambarii arranges the perfect safari for you.
When you enquire about an African adventure with Ambarii you deal directly with Bharat who will often respond immediately and always promptly. He is available by email, by phone or on WhatsApp. He loves Africa and wants you to love it too. His expertise will fill you with confidence.
Bharat's experience also includes setting up, designing and building successful safari camps in Tanzania from scratch and organising very complex events for up to 150 guests over 5/6 days in Africa and Europe for discerning clients.
